A single band XPON router uses a single wavelength of light to transmit data across a fiber optic connection. This type of router is typically used in home or small office networks where data speeds are not as critical as in larger businesses or data centers. The advantage of using a single band router is that it is less expensive than a dual band router, which uses two wavelengths of light to transmit data.

If you don't have access to a wifi connection, you can still use voice XPON to make calls. All you need is a data connection through a cellular network. To do this, simply enable data roaming on your phone. Once you've done that, you can make and receive calls as usual. The only difference is that you'll be using your data allowance instead of a wifi connection.
